Turbo Desktop Fan
Eleven hours of runtime, an LED display, and considerably more airflow than any desk actually requires. A Delhi May disagrees.
Turbo Desktop Fan
Eleven hours of runtime, an LED display, and considerably more airflow than any desk requires. A Delhi May disagrees.
What it actually is
A rechargeable turbo desk fan with multiple speeds, an LED display showing remaining battery, and a claimed eleven hours at low speed. It runs off USB and works while charging.
Who it's for
Anyone working somewhere the ceiling fan does not reach, which describes most desks pushed against a wall. The battery matters more than it sounds in areas with power cuts โ it keeps running when the fan overhead does not.
The honest downside
Eleven hours is the low-speed figure. On turbo it is a fraction of that, and turbo is the setting you will actually want in summer. It is also genuinely loud at the top speed โ loud enough to be heard on a video call, which is a real problem for the desk it is designed to sit on.
Check these before you buy
- Runtime at the highest speed rather than the headline number
- Noise level in decibels if listed, or noise complaints in reviews
- Whether it can run continuously while plugged in
- Base stability, since tall narrow fans tip when nudged
Verdict
Buy it for the battery and the airflow. Expect to keep it off turbo during calls.
