What it actually is
An acer Trifold Pro: a 60-key Bluetooth 5.0 keyboard that folds twice, with a rechargeable 140mAh battery and USB-C charging. It pairs with phones, tablets and laptops and works across operating systems.
Who it's for
People who write on a tablet or phone while travelling, and anyone whose bag will not take a full keyboard. The trifold design is the point — a two-fold keyboard is still too long for most pockets.
The honest downside
Every folding keyboard has seams, and seams sit under keys. The two hinge lines interrupt the layout, and you will hit them for the first week. Sixty keys also means compromises — the number row doubles for function keys, and punctuation may sit somewhere unfamiliar. It is a keyboard for a few hundred words, not a few thousand.
