What it actually is
A micro camera roughly the size of a thumb joint, recording 1080p video to a microSD card, with a clip and keyring loop so it can hang off a bag or lapel. It charges over USB and records at the press of a single button.
Who it's for
Cyclists and riders wanting a cheap helmet or handlebar cam, people who want a discreet second angle when filming, and anyone who wants a camera small enough to forget they are carrying.
The honest downside
Two real problems. First, there is no screen and no viewfinder, so you are aiming blind and will discover half your footage is of the sky. Second, and more seriously: a camera this discreet carries obligations. Filming people who have not consented — in changing rooms, bathrooms, offices, or anyone's home — is illegal in India and prosecutable. Buy it for your bike, not for anyone's privacy.
Check these before you buy
- Whether it records continuously or in short segments
- Battery life, which is commonly 40 to 70 minutes
- Maximum microSD size supported, usually 32GB or 64GB
- Low-light performance in reviews — this is where cheap sensors collapse
Verdict
A capable little recorder for bikes and bags. Use it on things, not on people.
